"I can do no wrong for I do not know what it is."

Hey, me neither!

Not sure if I posted this before but it popped into my mind again recently while I was doing some... research.

The story by Mark Twain is equally scary and depressing.

And takes place in Austria, what a surprise.

Wow. I am not cheered! It reminds me of the creation myth in The Epic of Gilgamesh in which the gods destroy mankind because they are too noisy. I guess feeling this way is nothing new, huh?

Indeed, nothing new 't'all.

Apparently nothing we ever feel or do is new, Ava, nothing we ever do is original or cheerful. By the same token, though, nothing matters anyway. Exclamation mark! Or should that be nothing matters anyway question mark?
